Save the Monarchs

Help to save the Monarchs and join the Illinois Monarch Project’s statewide initiative to conserve the breeding and feeding habitat of the monarch butterfly and other pollinators.

The eastern monarch population has lost a significant amount of the habitats that are needed for their thousands of miles long journey to Mexico. The Illinois Monarch Project’s goal is to plant 150 million new milkweed stems and other sources of nectar to the landscape in Illinois by 2038. Take the pledge to help the Illinois Monarch Project meet their goal.
